Fruit custard



Ingredients:

  • Custard powder- 3 to 4  tbsp
  • Milk- 4 cups
  • Sugar- As required
  • Mixed fruits- 2 cups( apple, mango,banana,guava,pomegranate,pine apple,grapes)
  • Mixed nuts- few tbsps( almond, pistachios,cashew nuts)
  • Tutty fruity- 4 tsp( optional).

Method:

  • Boil milk. Reserve little milk to dissolve the custard powder.
  • Now when the milk is above to boil out the flame in low and add the custrad milk  mixture.
  • Stir continuously so no lump forms.
  • Now when the milk thickens turn off the flame add sugar and mix well.
  • Allow it to cool and then add all the fruits and nuts and mix well and let it set in fridge for 4 to 6 hours.
  • Serve cold.
  • You can also set the custard separately and finally add fruits / nuts while serving.
  • By this way you can avoid fruits or nuts that you don't like.
  • Best dish for summer .








Notes:

  • Do not add custard powder directly to hot milk as lumps will form.
  • Adjust sugar to your preference.
