Fruit custard
Ingredients:
- Custard powder- 3 to 4 tbsp
- Milk- 4 cups
- Sugar- As required
- Mixed fruits- 2 cups( apple, mango,banana,guava,pomegranate,pine apple,grapes)
- Mixed nuts- few tbsps( almond, pistachios,cashew nuts)
- Tutty fruity- 4 tsp( optional).
Method:
- Boil milk. Reserve little milk to dissolve the custard powder.
- Now when the milk is above to boil out the flame in low and add the custrad milk mixture.
- Stir continuously so no lump forms.
- Now when the milk thickens turn off the flame add sugar and mix well.
- Allow it to cool and then add all the fruits and nuts and mix well and let it set in fridge for 4 to 6 hours.
- Serve cold.
- You can also set the custard separately and finally add fruits / nuts while serving.
- By this way you can avoid fruits or nuts that you don't like.
- Best dish for summer .
Notes:
- Do not add custard powder directly to hot milk as lumps will form.
- Adjust sugar to your preference.
