Babycorn fritters



Ingredients:

  • Baby corn-10 -15 nos
  • Maida/ all purpose flour- 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour-1 tbsp
  • Red chilli flakes-1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
  • Bread crumbs- As required
  • Oil -to deep fry
  • Salt - to taste

Method:

  • Wash the babycorns and slice them vertically into two pieces.
  • Now in a bowl mix all the ingredients except oil and bread crumbs.
  • Add required water and make a good maida batter.
  • Now dip the baby corns in maida mixture and coat it with bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry them in oil till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with ketch up.





Notes:

  • The oil must be at right temperature so that the baby corn gets cooked thoroughly.
  • Check the batter taste before cooking as all the seasoning is in the batter.
