Babycorn fritters
Ingredients:
- Baby corn-10 -15 nos
- Maida/ all purpose flour- 1/2 cup
- Corn flour-1 tbsp
- Red chilli flakes-1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
- Bread crumbs- As required
- Oil -to deep fry
- Salt - to taste
Method:
- Wash the babycorns and slice them vertically into two pieces.
- Now in a bowl mix all the ingredients except oil and bread crumbs.
- Add required water and make a good maida batter.
- Now dip the baby corns in maida mixture and coat it with bread crumbs.
- Deep fry them in oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot with ketch up.
Notes:
- The oil must be at right temperature so that the baby corn gets cooked thoroughly.
- Check the batter taste before cooking as all the seasoning is in the batter.
