Beans curry

Ingredients:

  • Beans-100 gms
  • Onion-1 big
  • Tomato -2
  • Ginger- 1 tsp(finely chopped)
  • Garlic-1 tsp ( finely chopped)
  • Green chilli-1 
  • Coriander powder-2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  • Garam masala-1/4 tsp
  • Oil- 4 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste

Method:

  • Cut beans into two inch pieces.
  • Add oil to kadai and add beans fry them for 2 mins, and remove it.
  • In same kadai add chopped ginger,garlic,green chilli,followed by thinly sliced onion and tomato.
  • Mix well and cook covered in a low flame till tomato turns mushy.
  • Now add all the spice powders,salt mix well and cook for 5 more mins.
  •  Add required water,mix well and finally add the pre cooked beans.
  • Let it boil for 5 mins. 
  • Serve hot with chapathi.






Notes:

  • You can add ginger garlic paste instead of adding it as whole.
