Beans curry
Ingredients:
- Beans-100 gms
- Onion-1 big
- Tomato -2
- Ginger- 1 tsp(finely chopped)
- Garlic-1 tsp ( finely chopped)
- Green chilli-1
- Coriander powder-2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder-1 tsp
- Garam masala-1/4 tsp
- Oil- 4 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
Method:
- Cut beans into two inch pieces.
- Add oil to kadai and add beans fry them for 2 mins, and remove it.
- In same kadai add chopped ginger,garlic,green chilli,followed by thinly sliced onion and tomato.
- Mix well and cook covered in a low flame till tomato turns mushy.
- Now add all the spice powders,salt mix well and cook for 5 more mins.
- Add required water,mix well and finally add the pre cooked beans.
- Let it boil for 5 mins.
- Serve hot with chapathi.
Notes:
- You can add ginger garlic paste instead of adding it as whole.
