Paneer tikka Naanza

I saw this recipe in one cookery video.. I think it is 'food lab'... im not sure.. it was quite interesting as it was a combination of paneer tikka, naan and pizza.. I changed the recipe to my taste and tried it... This recipe needs oven and it is also time consuming..but it is worth the time we spend to make this..and ya that was yummyyyyyyyy.....πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—

Ingredients:

For naan:


  • Wheat flour- 1cup
  • All purpose flour/ maida - 1cup
  • Baking powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Water - As needed 
  • Salt - To taste

For tikka:

  • Paneer cubes - 10 nos
  • Capsicum - 1/2 no
  • Curd- 1/4 cup
  • Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala- 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin/ jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1/2 tsp
  • Salt - To taste

For gravy:

  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1/2 tsp
  • Cumin- 1/4 tsp
  • Onion - 1 medium size
  • Tomato puree- 3/4 cup ( approximately  from 1 and 1/2  to medium size tomatoes)
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Green chilli -1 no
  • Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - To taste

Other ingredients:

  • Mint leaves - Few
  • Onion - 1/2 ( cut it into rings)
  • Mozarella cheese - 1/2 cup

Method:

  • First mare the dough soft and pliable, cover it  and allow it to rest.
  • Next prepare marination for tikka and coat paneer and Capsicum pieces and allow it to marinate for 30 mins.
  • Nowe it's time for preparing gravy. In a pan add oil followed by Cumin seeds, onion , green chilli and ginger garlic paste.
  • When onion turns soft add tomato puree.
  • Allow it to boil till raw smell disappears. Then add all the spices and salt.
  • Finally add fresh cream and coriander leaves. Turn off the gas.  ( do not add water)
  • Next bake the marinated pieces for 10 to 12 mins in oven at 225 degree Celsius. 
  • Next stretch the dough by sprinkling some wheat flour in naan shape ( or any shape as you wish).
  • Bake this also for 10 - 12 mins at 225deg Celsius. 
  • Now spread the tomato gravy on the baked naan, add grated mozarella cheese and place the baked paneer, capsicum pieces.
  • Top it up with Mint leaves , onion rings and more Mozarella cheese.
  • Again bake this for 10 to 12 mins at 225 degree Celsius. 
  • Serve it with mint Coriander raita or just with ketch up.
















Notes:

  • You can replace lemon juice with amchoor/ dry mango powder.
  • I dint add fresh cream ( oops  I forgot to add it😐) but still it tasted amazing.
  • You can make it wolith paneer alone and avoid Capsicum. 
  • Do not skip Mozarella cheese.
