Pizza Bun

Ingredients:

  • All purpose flou/Maida -1 & 1/2 cups
  • Active dry yeast -1 tsp
  • Milk -1/2 cup
  • Sugar -1&1/2 tbsp
  • Salt -1 tsp 
  • Olivr Oil -1/8 cup

For stuffing:

  • Capsicum -1
  • Onion -1
  • Tomato -1 ( optional)
  • Mixed herbs -1 tsp
  • Mozarella cheese -1/2 cup grated 
  • Pizza sauce/tomato sauce -2 tsp
  • Olive oil /oil -2 tsp
  • Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  • Salt - To taste

Method:

  • Chop the vegetables finely.
  • Now in pan add oil,followed by vegetables.Cook till they are done.
  • Now add herbs and salt and pizza sauce/tomato sauce and mix well.
  • Add chilli flakes  and mix well.
  • Let this cool before you stuff it. Add mozarella cheese to this before stuffing in to bun.
  • In lukewarm milk add sugar and yeast and dissolve completely.
  • Leave it aside for 10 minutes.The mixture will turn frothy and rise up. If this doesn't happen your yeast is inactive.Stop the process of making bun😞.
  • Add the frothy mixture to the flour and add all the remaining ingredients (oil,salt).
  • Knead well.Cover it and let it rest for 1 hour.
  • After an hour the mixture would have doubled in size.
  • Knead well again and divide the dough into buns to the size you prefer.
  • Fill it with stuffing. and arrange in a tray with enough spacing.Cover it and let it rest for 5 mins.
  • It would have again risen up.Pre heat the oven to 180 deg and bake for 18 to 20 mins.
  • Brush generously with butter after done.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.







Notes:

  • Have an eye on the bun after fifteen minutes of baking.
