Red chilli onion chutney
Serves-1
Ingredients:
- Red chilli-7 to 8
- Garlic -3 to 4 cloves
- Tamarind-1/4 tsp
- Shallots- 6 to 8 nos
- Salt- to taste
To temper:
- Sesame oil- 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves- few
- Asafoetida-a pinch
Method:
- Add all the ingredients in a mixer and grind it to a fine paste by adding little water.
- Now in a pan add oil and temper as mentioned above.
- Add the grinded paste and cook well in low flame till oil oozes out.
- Serve with idli or dosa.
