Peas paratha

Makes -4 parathas

Ingredients:

  • Frozen peas- 2 cups
  • Green chilli -2 to 3
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Garam masala -1 /2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Amchoor powder -1/4 tsp
  • Coriander leaves -1 tbsp
  • Cumin - 1 tsp
  • Salt - To taste

Method:

  • Steam cook peas for 10 mins.
  • Grind ginger and green chilli first. Then add green peas to it and grind it.
  • Add a tbsp of water while grinding if needed else Don't add.
  • Now mix in all the spices ,coriander leaves and salt.
  • Mix well and make equal size balls.
  • Stuff it in chapathi dough,roll it carefully and make parathas by adding oil / butter generously.
  • Serve it with curd and pickle or with some spicy side dishes







Notes:

  • You can replace a tbsp of lemon juice instead of amchoor powder.
  • You can replace roasted jeera/ cumin powder instead if whole cumin.
  • Roll the parathas carefully as it in May tend to tear very easily.
  • Let the chapathi dough be soft enough so that you get good parathas.
  • Do not add more water while grinding peas.
