Bharwan bhindi
Ingredients:
- Lady's finger- 10 to 15 nos
- Besan/ gram flour- 2 tbsp
- Sambar powder- 3 tbsp
- Amchoor powder-1 tsp
- Lime juice-1 tsp
- Onion-1
- Oil-2 tsp
- Garam masala-1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Method:
- Wash lady's finger and pat dry.
- Now in a bowl, mix all the spice powders, add little water,salt and make a thick paste out of it.
- Slit lady's finger to stuff the masala.
- I'm a non stick pan add 2 tsp of oil and place all the lady's finger( slot part facing upwards so that the masala won't burn).
- Sprinkle little water and cook closed in a low flame.
- Ensure to turn the lady's finger every now and then sprinkle little more water to retain the moisture of lady's finger.
- Finally add sliced onion and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
- Serve hot with roti or Pulao.
Notes:
- Is non stick pan for beat result.
- Taste the masala before stuffing.
- You can also add red chilli powder, and coriander powder for masala stuffing.
- Do not slot the lady's finger fully just create a opening to stuff the masala.
