Bharwan bhindi



Ingredients:

  • Lady's finger- 10 to 15 nos
  • Besan/ gram flour- 2 tbsp
  • Sambar powder- 3 tbsp
  • Amchoor powder-1 tsp
  • Lime juice-1 tsp
  • Onion-1
  • Oil-2 tsp
  • Garam masala-1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste

Method:

  • Wash lady's finger and pat dry.
  • Now in a bowl, mix all the spice powders, add little water,salt and make a thick paste out of it.
  • Slit lady's finger to stuff the masala.
  • I'm a non stick pan add 2 tsp of oil and place all the lady's finger( slot part facing upwards so that the masala won't burn).
  • Sprinkle little water and cook closed in a low  flame. 
  • Ensure to turn the lady's finger every now and then sprinkle little more water to retain the moisture of lady's finger.
  • Finally add sliced onion and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
  • Serve hot with roti or Pulao.






Notes:

  • Is non stick pan for beat result.
  • Taste the masala before stuffing.
  • You can also add red chilli powder, and coriander powder for masala stuffing.
  • Do not slot the lady's finger fully just create a opening to stuff the masala.
