Kollu idli podi



Ingredients:

  • Urad dhal-1/2 cup
  • Channa dhal- 1/4 cup
  • Kollu/ horse gram-1/4 cup+ 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli-6 to 8
  • Garlic- 2 ( optional)
  • Seseame seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind-  a pinch
  • Oil-2 tsp( to roast all ingredients)
  • Asafoetida- 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Method:

  • Roast all the ingredients one by one till you get nice aroma.
  • Cool them to room temperature, add salt to taste and grind it to powder.
