Drumstick leaves soup



This is a very flavourful and tasty soup. Highly nutritious and best way to incorporate drumstick leaves in our diet.
Kids will also enjoy this soup.

Ingredients:

  • Drumstick leaves-1 cup tightly packed
  • Shallots-4 to 5
  • Tomato-1 small
  • Coriander seeds-1 tsp
  • Cumin- 1 tsp
  • Whole black pepper-1 tsp
  • Garlic- 3 to 4 cloves
  • Bay leaf-1 
  • Water-2 cups
  • Salt- to taste

Method:

  • Wash drum sticks leaves( can add the stem part too).
  • In a pressure cooker add all the above ingredients and pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
  • Once pressure is released filter the water and keep side.
  • Add all the ingredients and grind it in a mixies to a fine paste .
  • Strain it through a strainer.
  • Add the water in which it got cooked and re-heat it . Add more water to the consistency you prefer.
  • Adjust salt or pepper to your taste.
  • Serve hot.
