Drumstick leaves soup
This is a very flavourful and tasty soup. Highly nutritious and best way to incorporate drumstick leaves in our diet.
Kids will also enjoy this soup.
Ingredients:
- Drumstick leaves-1 cup tightly packed
- Shallots-4 to 5
- Tomato-1 small
- Coriander seeds-1 tsp
- Cumin- 1 tsp
- Whole black pepper-1 tsp
- Garlic- 3 to 4 cloves
- Bay leaf-1
- Water-2 cups
- Salt- to taste
Method:
- Wash drum sticks leaves( can add the stem part too).
- In a pressure cooker add all the above ingredients and pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
- Once pressure is released filter the water and keep side.
- Add all the ingredients and grind it in a mixies to a fine paste .
- Strain it through a strainer.
- Add the water in which it got cooked and re-heat it . Add more water to the consistency you prefer.
- Adjust salt or pepper to your taste.
- Serve hot.
