Kalakhand



Very easy sweet that can be made in a jiffy.

Ingredients:

  • Paneer -250gm
  • Condensed milk -200ml
  • Sugar -2 tbsp
  • Milk powder (dairy whitener) -1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder -A pinch
  • Pistachios -Few
  • Ghee -Just to grease

Method:

  • Keep paneer immersed in hot water for few minutes,drain and squeeze them completely.Place it in a mixer and crumble it by using pulse option in mixie.
  • Now mix crumbled paneer,condensed milk,cadamom/elachi,sugar,milk powder and mix well.
  • Pour it into a non stick pan and stir for 4 minutes or till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Grease a plate with ghee and pour the cooked kalakhand .
  • Garnish it with pistachios and serve.










Notes:

  • I cooked kalakhand for very long time so mine turned bit hard.So be carefull.
  • Adjust sugar according to your taste preference as condensed milk is also sweet.
  • Milk powder is optional but it helps acts as a binding agent.
  • You can make this with fresh home made paneer also.Cooking time may vary.
