Vegetable Sandwich



One of the easy and tasty sandwich for a perfect breakfast.

Makes- 5 sandwhiches

Ingredients:

  • Bread Slices- As required
  • Potato -1 large
  • Tomato -1 large
  • Onion -1 large
  • Cucumber -1/2 no
  • Pepper powder -few pinches(optional)
  • Cheese slices -As required
  • Butter- for toasting 
  • Salt -to taste(optional)

for green chutney:

  • Coriander leaves -1 cup
  • Mint leaves -1/2 cup
  • Green chilli -4 to 5 nos
  • Almonds -6 to 7 nos
  • Lemon juice -2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Method:

Using pan:
  • First get the green chutney done. Just blend all the ingredients mentioned under 'for green chutney' in a mixer into a fine paste by adding little water.
  • Next boil potato till soft. 
  • Now slice all the veggies into roundles.
  • Now toast the bread applying butter.
  • Apply green chutney on one of the slice and arrange all the veggies one by one.
  • Finally sprinkle salt and pepper(optional).and complete it with a cheese slice.and close it with another bread.
  • Now Place the cheese side down on the pan and toast till cheese melts.
  • serve it with tomato sauce and green chutney.
Using toaster:
  • If you have a toaster then the process is much easy and quicker.
  • Apply butter on bread,apply green chutney on one bread and arrange all the vegetables and finally cheese. Close it with the other slice and toast it in toaster.





Notes:

Variations in this sandwhich is upto one's imagination. You can add or remove any veggeies. You can add mayonaisse,avoid green chutney etc... Its up to you.
