Vegetable Sandwich
One of the easy and tasty sandwich for a perfect breakfast.
Makes- 5 sandwhiches
Ingredients:
- Bread Slices- As required
- Potato -1 large
- Tomato -1 large
- Onion -1 large
- Cucumber -1/2 no
- Pepper powder -few pinches(optional)
- Cheese slices -As required
- Butter- for toasting
- Salt -to taste(optional)
for green chutney:
- Coriander leaves -1 cup
- Mint leaves -1/2 cup
- Green chilli -4 to 5 nos
- Almonds -6 to 7 nos
- Lemon juice -2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Method:
Using pan:
- First get the green chutney done. Just blend all the ingredients mentioned under 'for green chutney' in a mixer into a fine paste by adding little water.
- Next boil potato till soft.
- Now slice all the veggies into roundles.
- Now toast the bread applying butter.
- Apply green chutney on one of the slice and arrange all the veggies one by one.
- Finally sprinkle salt and pepper(optional).and complete it with a cheese slice.and close it with another bread.
- Now Place the cheese side down on the pan and toast till cheese melts.
- serve it with tomato sauce and green chutney.
Using toaster:
- If you have a toaster then the process is much easy and quicker.
- Apply butter on bread,apply green chutney on one bread and arrange all the vegetables and finally cheese. Close it with the other slice and toast it in toaster.
Notes:
Variations in this sandwhich is upto one's imagination. You can add or remove any veggeies. You can add mayonaisse,avoid green chutney etc... Its up to you.
