Home made ginger garlic paste




Ingredients:

  • Garlic-1 cup
  • Ginger -3/4 cup( chopped)9
  • Oil-3/4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp

Method:

  • Peel garlic's skin, wash ginger thoroughly,scrap it's skin and dry it through. Chop it roughly.
  • First grind garlic by adding oil and turmeric powder. Just give few pulses.
  • Now add ginger and grind it to fine paste. Clean the sides of the mixer by using a dry spoon not hand.
  • Store in a air tight container and place it in fridge.









Notes:

  • You can store this for up to one month if used carefully.
  • Every time you use this paste use only dry spoon and immediately place it back on fridge. Else your GG paste will spoil.
  • Even while grinding make sure there is no water in mixer, ginger ,garlic, the spoon you use also on the box you store.
  • Never use bare hand while grinding or while storing or using the GG paste.
  • Oil and turmeric acts as good natural preservatives.
