Palak poori
Makes -8 to 10 poori
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour- 3&1/2 cups
- Palak leaves- 3/4 bunch
- Ajwain/ omam-1/2 tsp
- Green chilli-2 to 3
- Salt- to taste
Method:
- Blanch palak leaves in hot water ,drain them and squeeze out all the water from it.
- Along with green chillies Grind this part blanched palak leaves in a mixer .
- Now in a wide open basin add 3 cups of wheat flour,palak paste,omam,salt and knead the dough to poori dough consistency, add water as required to knead the dough.(add more flour if needed) ( little harder than chapathi dough).
- Roll it into poori and fry them.
- Serve hot.
