Palak poori

Makes -8 to 10 poori

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour- 3&1/2 cups
  • Palak leaves- 3/4 bunch
  • Ajwain/ omam-1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli-2 to 3
  • Salt- to taste

Method:

  • Blanch palak leaves in hot water ,drain them and squeeze out all the water from it.
  • Along with green chillies Grind this part blanched palak leaves in a mixer .
  • Now in a wide open basin add 3 cups of wheat flour,palak paste,omam,salt and knead the dough to poori dough consistency, add water as required to knead the dough.(add more flour if needed) ( little harder than chapathi dough). 
  • Roll it into poori and fry them.
  • Serve hot.
