Garlic chilli chutney



Ingredients:

  • Red chilli-6
  • Garlic-10 pods
  • Salt- as required

To temper:

  • Gingelly oil- 3 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves- few
  • Asafoetida- few pinches

Method:

  • Add all the items under ingredients and grind by adding little water.
  • Once done temper with items mentioned above.
  • Goes well with idli.



Notes:

  • You can also use regular oil.
  • Increase or decrease red chilli to your spice preference.
  • Use half regular and half kashmiri chilli for bright colour chutney.
