Radish thogayal
Ingredients:
- Radish- 1cup ( grated)
- Urad dhal-2 tbsp
- Red chilli-4
- Tamarind-1 tsp
- Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida- a pinch
- Oil-2 tsp
- Salt-to taste
Method:
- Grate radish.
- In a pan add oil followed by urad dhal and red chilli. When it turns golden brown remove and keep aside.
- Gently squeeze radish and add it to the same pan. Saute for a min. Add turmeric powder and radish juice little by little.
- When the raw smell dis appears turn off the flame.
- Transfer it to mixer and add salt,tamarind.
- Grind it coarsely add little water if required. ( You can add left over radish juice if available).
- Goes well with rice.
