Eggless chocochip cookies
Makes -10 big cookies.
This cookie was tasty and buttery. My husband loved it and asked me to bake this every now and then. So do try!!
Ingredients:
- Maida / all purpose flour - 1 cup
- Sugar - 5 tbsp
- Chocochips-1/4 cup
- Baking powder-1/2 tsp
- Baking soda -1/4 tsp
- Unsalted butter -1/4 cup
- Vanilla extract -1 tsp
- Milk -2 tsp
Method :
- Keep butter in room temperature.
- In a bowl whip butter and sugar till it becomes creamy.( I was whipping it for about 6 mins).
- Then add milk and vanilla essence and beat well.
- Now in another mixing bowl seive maida, Baking powder and baking soda to ensure even mixing. Meanwhile pre heat the oven to 170 degree Celsius.
- Add this flour to the butter mixture along with the chocolate chips ( I used milk chocolate). Make it into a soft dough.
- Make them into rounds of your desired size and.
- Line a baking tray with butter paper and spread the dough with your fingers ( not too thick and not too thin).
- Give enough spacing between cookies as it will spread while Baking.
- Bake them for 15 to 20 mins.( I baked for 17 mins).
- Once it cools down store serve/ store in a air tight container.
Notes :
- You can use dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips.
- I used silver foil as I dint have butter paper and there was no problem in Baking with that.
- I dint give enough spacing between cookies so all got stuck together but it was very easy to separate them. Any ways remember to give enough spacing.
- Adjust sugar to suit your taste.
- Cookies will be soft when hot and turns crisp once they cool down completely.
