Milagai ( chilli) vathal
Ingredients:
- Green chilli- 50 nos
- Fenugreek seeds- 1/4 cup
- Salt- as required ( I used less than 1/4 cup)
- Asafoetida-3/4tsp
Method:
- Select good variety of green chilli. Let it be thick and long.
- Wash and Pat dry.
- Dry Roast fenugreek seeds till nice aroma comes
- Now add rock salt or regular salt, asafoetida and grind them to fine powder.
- Now slit the chilli and deseed it (drseeding helps to stuff the fenugreek powder and also reduces the spice level).
- Now stuff the fenugreek salt mixture.
- Sundry them for 3 to 4 days.
- Store in an air tight container and deep fry them when required.
