Mor milagai


Ingredients:

  • Gundu milagai/ thin green chillies- 3 cups
  • Buttermilk ( sour) -2 cups
  • Salt-1 tsp
  • Fenugreek powder-1/2 tsp

Method:

  • Select good chillies.Wash the chillies and Pat dry.
  • Do not remove the stem part of the chilli.
  • Slit the chilli .
  • Mix all the ingredients in buttermilk and add these chillies in it.
  • Let it soak in the butter milk mixture for two days.
  • Then remove them from butter milk and sundry them on a plate. By evening remove the chillies and again drop them in the same buttermilk mixture.
  • Repeat this procedure twice or thrice.
  • Once it is completely sun-dried remove them and store it in a container.
  • Throw the excess buttermilk if you have any.



Notes:

  • You can use either of the chilli variety mentioned above.
  • Make sure that you have sour buttermilk.
