Rice vadam



Ingredients:

  • Leftover rice -5 cups
  • Cumin -2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
  • Salt-1/2 tsp ( or as needed)

Method:

  • soak the leftover rice overnight.
  • Next day drain water and squeeze it to remove all the excess water.
  • Now grind them in a mixer ( just few pulses will do)
  • Now add all the other ingredients and mix well.
  • In a plastic sheet/ plate pinch them into tiny scrambles.
  • Sundry them for two to three days.
  • Make sure that they are completely dry.
  • Store it in a container and deep fry them as and when required.
  • Type 2:
  • You can grind green chilli,lemon juice in a mixer and add it with rest of the ingredients. Add green chillies and lemon juice to the quantity of rice you take.
  • Type3:
  • You can add red chilli powder with rest of the  ingredients.











Notes:

  • Note that the quantity of ingredients mentioned above are rough.
  •  Adjust it to the quantity of rice you ise
