Ragi malt / sathu maavu kanji( porridge)



Ingredients:

  • Sathu maavu health mix-1 tbsp
  • Palm sugar/ jaggery-1 tsp
  • Milk-1 cup

Method:

  • Take two tsp of the health mix in a bowl.
  • Add 1/4 cup of water to it and mix well without lumps.
  • Keep it on the flame and mix well continuously, add milk as it thickens. 
  • Cook in a low flame.
  • When the porridge begins to boil,turn off the flame and let it cool.
  • Add more milk to the consistency you prefer.
  • You can also make this with water and add little milk finally or make it entirely with milk without adding water. It's your choice





Notes:

  • You can use store bought health mix also.
