Ragi malt / sathu maavu kanji( porridge)
Ingredients:
- Sathu maavu health mix-1 tbsp
- Palm sugar/ jaggery-1 tsp
- Milk-1 cup
Method:
- Take two tsp of the health mix in a bowl.
- Add 1/4 cup of water to it and mix well without lumps.
- Keep it on the flame and mix well continuously, add milk as it thickens.
- Cook in a low flame.
- When the porridge begins to boil,turn off the flame and let it cool.
- Add more milk to the consistency you prefer.
- You can also make this with water and add little milk finally or make it entirely with milk without adding water. It's your choice
Notes:
- You can use store bought health mix also.
