Coriander chutney
Serves -2 to 3
Coriander chutney is very simple and easy to do.Those who love coriander flavour will definitely love this.Suits for idly and dosa.Ingredients:
- Coriander leaves -A hand ful
- Oil -2 tsp
- Channa dhal -1 tsp
- Urad dhal -1 tsp
- Green chilli -1 or 2
- Coconut scrappings -1/4 cup
- Tamarind -A pinch
- Salt -To taste
Method:
- In a pan add oil followed by channa, urad dhal .
- When it turns golden brown add tamarind,green chilli and coconut scrappings and cook well.
- Finally add coriander leaves,salt mix well and turn off the flame.
- Add required water and grind it to chutney.
Notes:
- If you want you can temper it with oil,mustard seeds and a pinch of asafoetida.
