Coriander chutney



Serves -2 to 3
Coriander chutney is very simple and easy to do.Those who love coriander flavour will definitely love this.Suits for idly and dosa.

Ingredients:

  • Coriander leaves -A hand ful
  • Oil -2 tsp
  • Channa dhal -1 tsp
  • Urad dhal -1 tsp
  • Green chilli -1 or 2
  • Coconut scrappings -1/4 cup
  • Tamarind -A pinch
  • Salt -To taste


Method:

  • In a pan add oil followed by channa, urad dhal .
  • When it turns golden brown add tamarind,green chilli and coconut scrappings and cook well.
  • Finally add coriander leaves,salt mix well and turn off the flame.
  • Add required water and grind it to chutney.



Notes:

  • If you want you can temper it with oil,mustard seeds and a pinch of asafoetida.
