Chilli parotta


Serves -2 to 3
I tried it with frozen parotta. It was so awesome with onion Raita.  Do try it.

Ingredients:

  • Parotta -3
  • Oil -4 tsp
  • Onion -1
  • Tomato - 1/2
  • Capsicum  -1
  • Garlic -3 cloves
  • Ginger paste -1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli -2
  • Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala-1/2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce -2 tsp
  • Soy sauce -1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
  • Carrot grated -2 tsp
  • Salt - To taste 

Method :

  • Cut parotta into bite size pieces. Toast it in a pan with just 2 tsp of oil and keep aside.
  • Now in a pan add 2 tsp oil followed by crushed garlic and ginger paste.
  • Then add cubed onion, green chilli and saute till onion turns transparent. 
  • Then add cubed Capsicum, tomato and saute till it gets cooked. ( make sure it doesn't lose its crunchiness).
  • Then add the spice powders, salt followed by tomato and soy sauce.
  • Stir well . Finally add parotta pieces and toss well so that addddddndddll the pieces gets even coating.
  • Finally add coriander leaves and grated carrot. Mix well.
  • Serve hot with onion Raita. 








Notes :

  • I used frozen parotta. If you are using frozen one first de freeze it and then toast it.
  • Do not miss the onion Raita. 😋
