Schezwan Noodles
Serves -2
Ingredients:
- Noodles-175 gms
- Mixed vegetables -1cup (carrot,beans,capsicum)
- Cabbage - 1 cup finely chopped
- Spring onion -a bunch
- Soy sauce-2 tbsp
- Schezwan sauce -2 tbsp
- Red chilli sauce-1 tsp
- Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp or to taste
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Garlic - 3 to 4 pods
- Salt - to taste
Method:
- Boil water in a large vessel. Add a tsp of oil and little salt in it.
- When it comes to boil add Noodles and let it cook in medium flame.
- Check whether the noodles is soft enough. When it is done strain them thoroughly and add a tsp of oil in it and mix well so that they don't Stick together.
- Finely chop the veggies and garlic.
- Now in a pan add 2 tbsp of oil and add chopped garlic ,white part of spring onion.
- Cook for 30 secs and then add chopped veggies except cabbage, cook till they are 3/4 th done.
- Finally add cabbage and cook for 2 mins.
- Now add all the sauces,salt,pepper and stir well.
- Add the boiled noodles and mix well.
- Finally add the green part of spring onion and turn off the flame.
- Serve hot with ketch up.
Notes:
- You can add the ready made fried rice spice powder for extra taste.
