Sweet kuzhipaniyaram
Ingredients:
- Batter - As required
- Jaggery- 3/4 cup
- Cardamom powder- few pinches
- Coconut gratings -1 tbsp ( optional)
- Salt - a pinch
Method:
- Dissolve jaggery with little water, strain to remove any impurities.
- Add cardamom powder, coconut gratings and pinch of salt.
- Add this to the batter and Mix well.
- Heat kuzhipaniyaram kadai. Add ghee to fill 1/4 of each kuzhipaniyaram hole.
- Add batter and cook both the sides.
- Serve.
Notes:
- Do not add more water to dissolve jaggery it will make the batter runny and difficult to turn them the other side in kadai.
- Can replace ghee with oil.
