Sweet kuzhipaniyaram



Ingredients:

  • Batter - As required
  • Jaggery- 3/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder- few pinches
  • Coconut gratings -1 tbsp ( optional)
  • Salt - a pinch

Method:

  • Dissolve jaggery with little water, strain to remove any impurities.
  • Add cardamom powder, coconut gratings and pinch of salt.
  • Add this to the batter and Mix well.
  • Heat kuzhipaniyaram kadai. Add ghee to fill 1/4 of each kuzhipaniyaram hole.
  • Add batter and cook both the sides.
  • Serve.



Notes:

  • Do not add more water to dissolve jaggery it will make the batter runny and difficult to turn them the other side in kadai.
  • Can replace ghee with oil.
