Carrot beans poriyal
Serves -2
Ingredients:
- Carrot -2
- Beans -100 gms
- Coconut gratings-2tbsp
- Turmeric powder -A pinch
- Water -1/2 cup(or as needed to cook vegetables)
- Sugar -1/4 tsp
- Salt -To taste
To temper:
- Oil -1 tsp
- Mustard seeds -1/4 tsp
- Red chilli -1
- Asafoetida -A pinch
- Curry leaves -Few
Method:
- In a pan temper with items given under 'to temper'.
- Then add finely chopped vegetables followed by salt,sugar.
- Add water and cook till it is done.
- Finally add coconut gratings,mix well and serve.
Notes:
- You can add moon dhal along with the vegetables.
