Aloo paratha type1
Makes 8 parathas
There are two versions of making aloo paratha,this is uncooked version.This is quite easy to do and tastes good.Worth giving a try.Whenever I feel lazy i take this method.But tastewise i prefer cooked version.
Ingredients:
- Potato -4 medium size
- Onion -2 large
- Garam masala -1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Amchoor powder -1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves -1 handful
- Ginger garlic paste -1/2 tsp
- Green chilli -1 no
- Salt - To taste
Method:
- Boil the potatoes and grate them.
- Finely chop onion and coriander finely.
- Add all the ingredients together and make stuffing.
- Stuff them and roll.
- Toast them with oil or butter.
Notes:
- It is very important that onion should be finely chopped else paratha will tear while rolling.
- Taste the aloo mix before stuffing.
- You can add 2tsp of lemon juice instead of amchoor powder.
