Onion Paratha




Makes 5 parathas

Ingredients:

  • Onion -3 large
  • Atta/Wheat flour -2 cups
  • Green chilli -2
  • Coriander leaves -A small bunch
  • Garam masala -1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
  • Salt -To taste

Method:

  • First grate the onion,add salt to it and squeeze out all the moisture from onion as far as possible.
  • Now using that juice from onion make chappathi /roti dough.
  • Now add squeezed onion,garam masala,redchilli powder,finely chopped green chilli and coriander leaves and preapare the mix.
  • Stuff the mix in roti and make parathas by adding butter/oil.
  • Serve with curd and pickle. 









Notes:

  • Add extra water while making roti dough if onion juice is not enough.
  • Since you have added salt in grated onion no need to add extra salt in dough.
  • Parathas may tear while making so roll carefully.
