Onion Paratha
Makes 5 parathas
Ingredients:
- Onion -3 large
- Atta/Wheat flour -2 cups
- Green chilli -2
- Coriander leaves -A small bunch
- Garam masala -1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
- Salt -To taste
Method:
- First grate the onion,add salt to it and squeeze out all the moisture from onion as far as possible.
- Now using that juice from onion make chappathi /roti dough.
- Now add squeezed onion,garam masala,redchilli powder,finely chopped green chilli and coriander leaves and preapare the mix.
- Stuff the mix in roti and make parathas by adding butter/oil.
- Serve with curd and pickle.
Notes:
- Add extra water while making roti dough if onion juice is not enough.
- Since you have added salt in grated onion no need to add extra salt in dough.
- Parathas may tear while making so roll carefully.
