Palak Paneer Paratha



Makes 4 parathas

I saw this recipe in net and tried it out.Very soft and tasty paratha. Kids will definetly love it.In this way you can make them eat greens.


Ingredients:

  • Paneer(grated) -1 cup                    
  • Palak/Spinach -1 cup tightly packed
  • Butter -2 tbsp
  • Green chilli -1
  • Amchoor powder -1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder  -3/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala -1/4 tsp 
  • Salt -To taste

Method:

  • In a bowl mix Butter,red chilli powder,garam masala,amchoor powder,green chilli,ginger garlic paste and salt. Make it to a fine paste.
  • Blanch Palak/Spinach,squeeze the water completely and chop it.
  • Now add Grated paneer and spinach to the butter mix and make it into small balls.
  • Stuff it in roti and roll.
  • Toast it in a pan with oil or  butter.
  • Serve with curd and pickle.













Notes:

  • Green chilli should be finely chopped.
  • You can avoid ginger garlic paste.
  • Taste the mix before stuffing it in roti dough.
  • Roti dough should be soft enough to make parathas.
  • While blanching spinach add 1/4 tsp  sugar to retain its colour.
