Beans poriyal

I started eating beans only after getting married.One day my MIL made it and I liked the taste.She added moong dhal and coconut scrapings which enhanced the taste of the poriyal.From then on I
started making beans poriyal in her way.
Ingredients:
- Beans,(chopped) -2cups
- Water -1/4 cup
- Coconut scrapings -1/4 cup
- Moong dhal -1 tbsp
- Salt -To taste
To temper:
- Oil -1 tsp
- Mustard seeds -1/4 tsp
- Red chilli -1
- Asafoetida -A pinch
Method:
- Pressure cook beans with little water.
- In a pan temper with items given under 'to temper'.
- Add cooked beans, moong dha,salt.
- Cook till moong dhal turns soft.Finally add coconut scrapings.
Notes:
- You can avoid pressure cooking beans and add it directly after tempering.
