Peas masala

I'm not a huge fan of peas.But Due to its rich qualities I try to have it.This is indeed a treat for peas lovers and a great side dish for dosa.Unlike usual chutney and sambar such types of masalas tickle our taste buds.SO simple and easy to make.
Ingredients:
- Onion -1 large
- Tomato -1 large
- Peas -1 cup
- Jeera -1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon -A small stick
- Ginger garlic paste -1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves -2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder -1 tsp
- Garam masala -1/4 tsp
- Oil -2 tsp
- Salt -To taste
Method:
- In a pan add oil followed by cinnamon stick and jeera.
- Now add onion,ginger garlic paste.Saute till raw small of ginger garlic paste disappears.
- Now add tomato followed by all spices.Add salt.Saute for till tomato turns mushy.
- Add peas and mix well.Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with dosa/chappathi
Notes:
- I used frozen peas.If you are adding fresh peas first cook them till soft and then add.
